This feature is designed to remove unwanted and dangerous files from logs. In addition to deleting files, this is an important step for security. For example, executable files in the data can lead to data leaks. Therefore, this is an important feature for cleaning up junk files.

2. HOW TO

Enable the “Delete files Custom” feature. Specify the path to the folder containing the logs. Next, specify the file names or extensions you want to delete, and the program will delete all the files you selected.

This function allows the user to delete specific files or file types from a chosen folder and all its subfolders. The console prompts the user to enter file extensions or exact file names (e.g. *.exe *.bat UserInformation.txt). Each entered value is validated: Accepted formats: *.extension (e.g. *.txt) or filename.extension (e.g. data.log). Invalid formats are rejected with a warning. The user selects a folder using the directory chooser dialog. The program recursively searches through all subfolders for files matching the given extensions or names. All found files are deleted automatically. The console shows: The progress of the deletion process for each element. The number of deleted files. The total working time.

3. What are these databases for?

These databases are mainly used for easy storage of data for website authorization. Subsequently, data is retrieved from these databases to log into various services.
