Sorting email

Email sorter

This tool reads mail:pass lines from text files and sorts them into separate files by email domain.

How to use

  • Choose the input files and the output folder using file dialogs.
  • Pick a sorting mode from the console menu:
  • - simple — only well-known providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) get their own files; everything else goes to other.txt. - advanced — every domain gets its own file. - custom — you type a comma-separated list of the domains you want to sort. - exit — quit the tool.

    How it works

    • Each line is read, separators are normalized, and the mail:pass format is checked.
    • Valid entries are grouped by domain and then written into separate files in the output folder.
    • Malformed lines are ignored safely, and all files are handled as UTF-8.
    • Output

      When finished, you'll see:

    • The total number of lines processed.
    • How many files were created.
    • The total time spent, shown in hours, minutes, and seconds.
